Each participant must sign-up a minimum of one new member per month.

Each new member can only be counted once.

Each new member’s commitment must equal a minimum of $52 a year. 

Gift cards will be awarded at the end of each month to the participant who leads in each category: a.) members recruited, b.) dollars raised.

In the event of a tie at the end of the month, gift cards will be awarded to each leader in both categories.

Contest leaders at the 6 and 12 month mark will select a Black-owned, Detroit-based business or nonprofit to receive a $5,000 grant.

In the event of a tie at 6 and 12 months for members recruited,  grant determination will be made based on dollars raised; if the tie is for dollars raised, grant determination will be made based on members recruited. (Example 1: Jennifer and Kevin each raised $2000. Jennifer recruited 20 new members and Kevin recruited 18 new members. Jennifer would be the winner. Example 2: Carl and Kim each recruited 33 new members. Carl raised $2600 and Kim raised $2400. Carl would be the winner.
